Percolation effect and Forest fire simulation
GPGE, 2020-2021
This project was completed as part of the TIPE (Travail d’Initiative Personnelle Encadrée) for the entrance exam at France’s top engineering schools, under the supervision of Prof. Nicolas Tosel. The project focuses on simulating forest fires with the percolation effect. By modeling the spread of fires and the connectivity of forested areas, the project aims to understand the critical thresholds for fire propagation and the resilience of ecosystems.
